System Description
The Ermak Towermak automatic loading and unloading system integrates sheet handling with laser cutting operations. It allows fully automated material transfer to enhance efficiency and reduce manual handling.
System Layout
- Includes 3-shelf pallet storage and automated elevator system.
- Integrated with laser cutting machines for automatic material supply.
- Allows storage of raw and processed sheets.
System Startup
- Ensure all emergency stop buttons are released.
- Check compressed air pressure (minimum 6 bars).
- Turn on the main power switch on the control panel.
- Reset safety barriers using the designated blue pushbutton.
- Check the system diagnostic screen for errors and alarms.
System Shutdown
- Wait until all automatic cycles are completed.
- Switch the system to manual mode using the key selector.
- Turn off the system using the main power switch.
- Cut off the compressed air supply.
Control Mode Selection
- Manual Mode: Allows individual operation of system components.
- Automatic Mode: Fully automated material transfer based on laser machine requests.
Axis Z Zeroing Procedure

- System moves selected pallet to operator station for removal.
