Introduction
The Erbend MFC-MFB-MFD series includes motorized folding machines that require precise installation and commissioning. This manual outlines the steps for machine setup, calibration, and safety compliance.
Machine Layout
- Ensure the installation surface is level and free of cracks.
- Maintain at least 1 meter of clearance around the machine.
- Refer to the user manual for exact machine dimensions and weight considerations.
Electrical and Air Connections
- Connect the machine to the required voltage as specified on the machine type label.
- Verify phase-phase, phase-neutral, and ground voltages before powering the machine.
- Use the designated air connection ports for pneumatic components.
Light Barriers
- Proper alignment of light barriers is required before body sheet installation.
- Turn on the main power switch before adjusting barrier alignment.
- If the receiver and transmitter do not align, the machine will generate an error.
Foot Pedal and Backgauge Consoles
- The foot pedal operates in a plug-and-play configuration.
- Additional backgauge consoles must be installed correctly for proper machine function.
- Backgauge calibration is required after installation.
Leveling and Fixing
- Use precision leveling tools to ensure correct positioning.
- Secure the machine using anchoring bolts once leveling is completed.
- Verify that all adjustments are correct before commissioning.
Sheet Support Adjustments
- Adjust support tables to align with the lower tool.
- Fine-tune the guide plates for consistent material feeding.
- Secure all adjustments to maintain long-term accuracy.
