The PLS-824 gives you a 20′ × 7’11” layout area, so you can lay out bigger work full-scale in one pass. It was built by steel fabricators to cut layout labor drastically, and it still runs off a single 110V outlet.

The PLS-824 is the wide-format member of the Precision Steel Systems family. Its built-to-order 8′ table gives you nearly 8′ of usable layout width across a full 20′ length. That’s room for tall railing panels, stair stringers and oversized assemblies without splitting the layout or working around the table’s edge.

Precision Steel Systems is a team of seasoned steel fabricators who got tired of watching skilled hands spend hours on tape-and-soapstone layout. They built the PLS line to close that gap. It takes layout off your fabricators’ plate so they can do what you’re paying them for: fitting and welding.
From CAD to Full-Scale Layout
The system comes with Mach-Motion software preloaded on the controller and a SheetCam license for nesting. Your detailers clean up the drawings in CAD, SheetCam nests them, and the PLS-824 draws the layout full-size and repeatably, every time.
Simple Power, Full Support
Despite its size, the entire machine runs off a single 110V outlet. Two days of onsite setup and training are included, and so is a complete maintenance and cleaning kit, so your crew is ready to go from the first shift.
