Straightening
The challenge with sheet metal coils is the curve of the roll when its unfolded. With Mac-Tech’s cut to length machines straitening is made simple and quick produces a flat piece of sheet metal every time. This process ensures that your sheets are straight especially in applications such as guillotine cutting, stamping or bending. The coil processor consists of a set of rolls that are adjustable complete with positioning indicators. Vertically adjusting the rolls will remove any tension resulting in a flat sheet of meta. Optionally, different straighteners are available to best fit your application.
Slitting Unit (Horizontal Cut)
The slitting unit is a convenient option where cutting sheet metal strips directly from the coil is necessary. Positioned after the straightening rolls by circular blades. The cutting measurements are quickly adjustable, and the number of cuts is dependent on the capacity of the machine selected.
